Our stay was quite enjoyable, thanks to the lovely beach and plenty of amenities like canoes and kayaks for guests. However, the rigid check-in policy and concerning restaurant service dampened the experience slightly. The resort itself had a charming atmosphere, but it could greatly benefit from a more flexible attitude toward guest services.

The cottage we stayed in was a good size and comfortable, making it reasonably priced for what we got. It definitely met our family's needs.

The check-in procedures were quite strict and could use some improvement. The restaurant service was notably slow, especially during breakfast, which was frustrating for our group.

The resort is located right by the beach, providing access to beautiful views and a variety of water activities. Despite some muddy areas, it was generally convenient and pleasant.
Dining

Dining was a bit disappointing, especially when it came to breakfast. Our experience with the buffet turned into a frustrating a la carte situation, leading to some of our group leaving without food.

Our stay at the resort had its ups and downs. While the cottage we rented was spotless and well-equipped, we faced significant issues with accessibility that made our experience less enjoyable. The dining experience was a highlight, with excellent food, but the service could use improvement, especially in busy situations. Ultimately, we appreciated the cozy ambiance but were disappointed with the misunderstandings surrounding accessibility.

While the food was excellent, the service left something to be desired. Waiting for our meals took too long, and that affected our experience.

My latest stay was a bit mixed. The resort is a lovely place where I felt so relaxed, and the company of other guests was delightful. The staff, particularly the owner, showed genuine care that made my experience memorable. On the downside, I had a significant issue with the restaurant's service during my stay, especially regarding wait times during breakfast, which was frustrating. Overall, it's a charming resort worth visiting again, but dining improvements are necessary.

Our stay at the resort was really enjoyable, thanks to its beautiful location on Otter Lake. The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely lake view that made it special. The staff was helpful, though sometimes hard to find. Dining had its ups and downs – good food but a bit slow. The facilities were nice, especially the beach and pool areas. Overall, it's a great spot for a relaxing getaway, especially after Labor Day when it’s quieter.

The resort is a charming lakeside getaway with cozy cabins and plenty of activities like swimming and nature hikes. The rooms offer a rustic charm, featuring comfortable amenities like a fireplace and a jacuzzi, perfect for relaxation. However, the rigid check-in policy was frustrating and the gym facilities left something to be desired. Overall, a great place for a family vacation if you're looking for outdoor fun and a relaxing environment.

Rooms

My room was a spacious retreat, featuring a king-size bed, armchairs, a gas fireplace, and a balcony with views of Big Otter Lake. It felt cozy and private, although some fixtures were a bit dated.
Service
5.0
Despite the beautiful setting, the check-in process was too strict, and I saw other guests facing similar frustrations. Accessing our room at 4 p.m. felt overly rigid, especially when we could see it was ready earlier.
Location
9.0
The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the lake and easy access to activities like kayaking and paddle boating. It truly embodies the essence of a lakeside retreat.
Dining
7.0
We enjoyed our meals at the resort, especially the breakfast, which had a good variety. The dining experience was satisfactory, but I wish there were more options available.
Facilities
6.0
The resort provides a nice range of facilities, including an indoor pool and options for winter sports like snowmobiling, although the gym could benefit from more equipment.
